Ameya is a lawyer and peace mediation expert. She leads Inter Mediate’s strategic engagement in South Asia and China and contributes to work on the
Korean peninsula. She set up a transboundary environmental peacebuilding venture for South Asia, which received the Paris Peace Forum’s 2022 Scale Up award.
Ameya’s experience cuts across the public and private sectors, at peacebuilding organisation Conciliation Resources and leading international law firm, Linklaters. She has facilitated
high level dialogues on India-Pakistan and across the Line of Control in Kashmir. She provided technical support to the UN’s Office of the Special Envoy for Syria across six rounds of
proximity talks. She has taught courses on international peace processes at Stanford Law School and the Applied Conflict Transformation Programme, Cambodia.
Ameya holds a Master in Public Administration
from Harvard Kennedy School. She has won multiple awards for her work, including the Gleitsman Leadership Fellowship at Harvard’s Center for Public Leadership and the Women of the
Future Award 2019.
