Ali Alshlash

Projects Director, Middle East

Ali Alshlash is Inter Mediate’s Middle East Projects Director and a political affairs specialist with some fifteen years’ experience in the region. Before joining Inter Mediate, he was an Advisor in the Office of the U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Syria and worked on U.S. Department of State policy on Syria. Earlier, he worked on stabilisation, governance and civil society programmes, managing assistance portfolios and supporting recovery in post conflict communities. Ali holds an MA in Global Diplomacy from SOAS University of London and has lived and worked in Syria, Turkey and Egypt.
